I know they market green lasers as being intrinsically more complex and therefor, expensive. But when Frys sells green laser pointers for less than 10 bucks, it begs the question... why does is cost nearly $300 for the weaponized version? the red laser one is a third the cost... I guess I'm the sucker for buying it, but it doesn't make me that happy about it. Pros: its green, its small, its light, and it functions as designed Cons: not great when cold, which I could switch from pulse to steady, too expensive

I have a Springfield XD compact and it mounts fine, but sticks out a tiny bit and tends to get dirty quickly which blocks the laser. If you don't have enough room to fully mount it, it won't align properly (for instance it won't mount right on my Springfield XD sub-compact). Pros: Easy to set up, Transferrable between guns (needs recalibration).

Though I've only used 3 other laser systems (various manufacturers, but all red lasers), this one is by far the best. No matter what the range, you're guaranteed to see the green dot, 30 yards, 100 yards in the dark or broad daylight, it doesn't matter. Plus it's super lightweight, interchangeable between my XD-M 9mm and LWRC (any picatinny rail system) and easy to sight in at any range - takes seconds to do so on my lwrc with my EOTech as an aid. Though beware - until it becomes more mainstream at area ranges, you WILL be "having" to show it to others around you! Others have stated battery life is an issue, but after an estimated 10 hours of use, the batteries are still going strong - and really, how much does a normal person really need the batteries of a laser to last? Though to be safe, you may want to purchase the Li multi-pack battery set along with this laser for $19. The only drawback is the price - but then you're buying a quality, super-easy-to-use laser. Pros: Setup, adjustment, visibility couldn't be easier Cons: A bit overpriced

Overall I think that this is an awesome product. I have it mounted on a .460 S&W magnum. This I use for feral pigs and it works very very well when using night vision. Also functions very well in most other light conditions other than bright sunlight. It teds to be drowned out by the intense sunlight. I plan on purchasing more for my other pistols. Pros: Very bright and works well with Night Vision Cons: The pulsating laser hurts the eyes at very close range

I shoot out side so I wanted a green laser to use on my fn 5-7 on bright days. I'm very pleased over all. the green laser is bright and visible all the way down range. The only problem with the green laser is , if left in cold for to long it shuts off (below 35 degrees after about ten minuts). other wise this little things great! Pros: Light weight, sleek, visibility, works well in day light, turns off automatically if left on, bottom rail Cons: short battery life, dose not funtion in cold temp

I love it! It is visible during the day where my red internal laser wasn't. It took some adjustment after firing the gun but not much. Have a surefire TL 2 mounted on the bottom of the laser. GREAT BUY. Pros: Small, Light, Rail Built in, bright in the daylight

Not as bright in daylight as I thought it would be,can see maybe 15yds. Does not work in cold weather just as mfg. says. Buy a red lasermax if you hunt in winter. Brighter than red no doubt (have red one also). All around good laser but don't expect to use it much in daylight, made for indoors or low light and night time conditions outside. Pros: rail mount Cons: poor battery cover

A little pricey, but price should come down with time.

Went with the green laser for it's improved range. Rebate helped offset the higher price. Happy with the purchase. The first unit I recieved didn't work which seemed to be due to bad batteries (low volatage measurment). I returned to OpticsPlanet and they sent me a new one. They paid shipping both ways. Pros: Simple to set up and use Cons: None

READ THE INSTRCTIONS on how to adjust the windage/elevation these adjustments are not like similar windage/elevation adjustments and can ruin the laser EASILY by overadjusting. Pros: Small compact easy to install very bright Cons: VERY sensitive windage/elevation adjustment

Overall great product for price, compact and fits easily on XDs; activation switch is sensitive and has a tendency to turn-on after a few rounds (quick field fix with thin strip of rolled up duck tape). Pros: Price, Size Cons: Activation switch is sensitive

The Lasermax Uni-Max Green laser is an excellent quality product as is all of there products I have used in the past. The laser is easy to attach to almost any pistol. It is easy to sight in and maintains its zero when removed and installed. I would highly recommend this product. It is presently installed on a Beretta 92A1 Compact and fits beautifully.

The Uni-Max is easy to setup and use. Once on the rrail, a simple adjustment will line the green dot up. The only problem is the changing of flashing to steady light. It starts at flashing and while the directions are clear, the changing to steady is not. Takes a few tries.
