[Review] Laserlyte Springfield XD + XDM Rear Sight Laser Sight Pros

LaserLyte RTB-XD Springfield XD/XDM Rear Laser Sight is an efficient way to mount a highly accurate laser sight to your handgun without having to install new grips, hardware, or other equipment. Installing easily into the rear sight of your Springfield XD or XDM handgun, these laser sights feature an ambidextrous, "press and go" activation button that is easy to find and activate in a frenetic tactical situation, and they're programmable in either constant-on or pulse mode. LaserLyte has also installed an auto-off function in the Laser-Lyte Sig P225 Rear Sight Laser, which flashes once at 5 minutes of continuous activation and automatically powers down the unit after 6 minutes, thus preserving the sight's battery life. These LaserLyte laser sights are constructed out of sturdy high carbon steel, complete with a black chrome finish for stellar corrosion resistance. What's more, you can comfortably wear your laser-equipped handgun in all Level 1 or Level 2 holsters. The RTB-XD is built for the Springfield XD and XDM handguns, and it is also compatible with Sig Sauer P225, P226, and P228 pistols. Give your handgun a reliable, efficient, and easy to install laser sight by mounting the Laser Lyte Springfield XD+XDM Auto-Off Rear Sight Laser Sight to your weapon.

I'm always amazed at the reviews for various products that people purchase. I have had no problems with my sight. The range of adjustment was at least 18 inches in all directions. steady or intermittent operation worked just fine. I like the fact that if it is set for blink, it defaults to blink and if it is set for constant it defaults to constant. My sight was installed using a press and not hammered on. I know what your saying, the thing better hold up to impacts! but it's a little different when you beat on the sight from the side. The low profile design makes it possible to use all holsters that I have ever seen for the XDm. Price is reasonable and quality the same. If I have issues in the future I guarantee you I will be giving an update to these comments. Pros: low profile and easy reach to activation switch Cons: none that I have seen when installed correctly
