I have been using this laser on a Kel Tec 9mm for about 600-700 shots. The gun has a lot of recoil because it is very small and light weight. The laser has held up very well and it holds zero. It actually works a lot better than much more expensive units that I have on other guns. Pros: very small and holds zero Cons: none

I would highly recommend the Unimax Micro, its small and sleek design doesn't bulk up gun and make it heavier. Morning, Dusk & Low Light areas this laser will shine way farther than my pistol would ever shoot. Its quick and easy to turn on, with the tap of your index finger. In addition it has a 10 Minute auto shut off in case you accidently leave it on.I would highly recommend this laser for any pistol. Pros: Sleek & Small. Doesnt Bulk up gun. 10 Minute auto shut off. Cons: Hard to see in direct sunlight past 20 yards.

I have a micro mounted on a sig P250 compact 45 ACP. So far it is working great. Just use alittle bit of BLUE LOCTITE on the mounting screws Pros: small, bright laser, easy to see red dot, easy on/off Cons: none as of now

I bought the Micro specifically for my Springfield XD-40 Sub Compact. As for fit, looks like it was made for this gun. Switch is very easy access with trigger finger. Mount is solid. Laser dot is good except for bright sun condition. I find this condition the same with another LaserMax I have on one of my Sigs and also a SigSauer laser I have. I have gone through a couple of boxes of ammo with the Uni and didn't have any problems with it's operation. Can't beat it for the cost. Optics Planet very prompt in delovery, and this was during Christmas season. Pros: Compact, Good fit Cons: None

Makes practice at the range a much more enjoyable experience due to decreased eye stain. Allows you to concentrate on other things such as stance and/or grip all the while keeping you on target. Pros: Very small and a good value. Cons: Very few holsters to be had for guns with under-slung lasers.

I purchased the Micro for my XD 9mm sub compact. Very easy to mount and adjust. I used blue Locktite when installing and have had no issue with loosening of mounting bolt. My wife has felt more comfortable practicing with the Micro. She said, "It allows me to concentrate more on form." Pros: Easy mount. Easy on/off. Small size. Cons: Easy on. Turns itself off after 5 min.

PRO'S: Fits my Springfield XDs (3.3" barrel, .45 ACP)perfectly! Was very easy to install, and I did use a drop of Loctite on the mounting s*c*r*e*w to prevent any future problems. Inserted the battery, switched it on and was surprised at how bright the laser beam was. I then used an insertable .45 ACP laser "round" to help me in sighting in the LaserMax. After only a few "shots" it was perfectly sighted in! It is adjustable for both windage and elevation. I also like the ability to switch between a steady beam or an intermittent beam. Now if it came with a green laser I'd be in heaven. All in all I am (so far) completely satisfied with this purchase. CON'S: Finding a holster for the XDs with the the attached LaserMax, was not impossible but pretty close to it. I am very picky as to what kind of concealable holster I carry. I prefer outside the belt, paddle style, that is easily removable from the belt. I ended up ordering from a leather holster manufacturer in England and must wait 8-10 weeks for delivery for my everyday carry holster. I also ordered a soft one from Gum Creek for my vehicle, which fits perfectly.

great value and a good product but would not handle my 40 ca. everytime i took it to the range after about the 3rd or 4th round would shake the screw loose and the nut would fall on the ground. i returned it and just this weekeed got my refund credit by email. planet optics as always was FIRST CLASS in every way. you can not go wrong using this company. i had so much confidence they would take of this i ordered a couple of items while waiting on refund and will put another order in this week. henry highland loveland, ohio Pros: good for the money Cons: would not handle my xdm 40 cal.

Easy unit to mount. I like the new tap-to-activate switch, as there is nothing to protrude as on their full-size laser. However, those with small hands will not be able to reach the switch with the trigger finger; instead, you'll have to reach it with the support hand. Overall a great unit that other have yet to match! Pros: Small size Cons: Can be a reach to activate

This unit is small and fits my compact M&P quite well. Adjustment is easy but not intuitive to "zero-in". The "dot" is very large and oval and thus is hard to determine accuracy. Good value. Pros: Low cost Cons: Laser "dot" is very large & oval

It's a nice compact laser. Biggest drawback is that the screw that fastens the sight to the rail always loosens after 15-30 shots. Just needs to be tightened after emptying each mag, unless you want to lose it. Fortunately, mine happened at the range, so it just fell beneath my feet. Pros: Small, lightweight Cons: Constantly needs adjustment

this one is OK. you have to tighten the mount very tight or it will come loose after shooting. Cons: dot is not very sharp

The laser is awesome and very compact. But I searched all over, even the dealers recommended by Lasermax. Nobody has the mold to be able to make a holster. Pros: small, bright, easy to install Cons: no holster or even custom holster makers will accommodated this laser

First time at the range, the fitting screw kept coming loose. Secound time out, the laser would come on by its self from the recoil... and no my finger was not hitting the switch. The third time, the laser image became very fusy with a large oval shape. I tried to clean it as per instructions... still didn't work. Im sending it back as I was told this is very rare. when I get the new on I'll post again after several trips to the ranger. BTW, the folks at Laser Max were great in helping me. Pros: Great price... if it worked Cons: can't take the recoil of my Bersa .45

Very nice, compact laser in an attractive package. Easy to install and controls are easy to manipulate. I would use this on compact & sub-compact pistols only as the power switch could be hard to reach on full size frame. Also easy to turn on by accident, but overall a great value for the price and seems very well put together. I would definitely recommend. Pros: Very compact with good laser visibility Cons: Can be hard to reach on full size frames

I have heard comments that it switches on accidently, etc. It hasn't happened yet and I haven't shot it a lot. Pros: Small fits Beretta sub compact like a glove Cons: Tap switch could caus problems. would prefer a hard click switch

The LMS Micro fit nicely onto the front rail on my Springfield XD-9. It was very easy to sight in using a laser bore sight - just turn the two Allen head screws until both lasers (bore site & LMS Micro) formed one dot. It is so light that I could not feel the extra weight of the unit when aiming and firing. Pros: Very small and light weight Cons: Cannot use the stock XD holster with the LMS Micro installed

Using a Gen3 PVS-14-17 this class 1 IR laser is impressive. Very little bloom up close with 850nm IR laser. Came with 2 wrenches, 2 batteries and alot of performance. Not quite as good in features as the Viridian C5L, but an IR Laser is unique in itself. Pros: tiny, invisable and sweet Cons: 1 year warranty a drag compared to Viridian and Crimson Trace longer warranties

Gerat product. Works out of the package! Dors not take much room on the rail. Has a five year warranty. It shows thst Lasermax has a good product. The battery is expensive to replace. But it shows that you get what you pay for. I will buy snother for my Ruger SR 22. I have this one on a Taurus Millennium G2.

In sub-compact size is not one thing it is everything. Short barrel equals short rail. The Lasermax Unimax Micro Rail Mounted laser is small, light and easy to use. the switch powers the unit on for 10 minutes or you can turn it off if it is not needed. To learn how you are sighting is critical and this device is a great tool. I put one on a Mosquito for my wife who is just learning to shoot and it shows when the trigger is not squeezed correctly. This laser will move up to her next weapon which will be a sub-compact, short rail pistol and the Lasermax will again fit the rail and fill the bill for the next sight teaching process. good product! Well thought out.

I've only used this one time on the Sig-320. It was very easy to set up. I shot about 50 rounds and it never shut off, as I have had the trigger mount lasers turn off at times. So far I feel it was well worth what I paid, and service, shipping was great.
