Before this unit was available, I wrote to CTC for a year, to the point of being a PEST, begging that the create a Laserguard like that on my Ruger LCP. I got an email from CTC in March of 2010, telling me "you won! we are releasing a Laserguard for your Sigma next month or maybe sooner..." I was extatic! I got the release notice a couple of weeks later and bought it immediately. Once sighted in, it improved my accuracy by 50%. I love it! Unfortunately, I had to modify my own holster for fit the combination, because none of the manufacturers make one. You can get one 'custom' made, but it costs half the price of the LG-406! Hopefully the holster makers will get pressure form S&W and CTC to accommodate us. But the LG-406 is highly recommended! Pros: Quick install, inexpensive, acurate Cons: Cannot find a holster to fit the Sigma/LG-406 combination!

The LG 406 for S&W Sigmas goes on in less than a minute. It is ready to use right out of the box and zeroed at 20 feet; though you can adjust it with the small Alan Wrench included. A great value and a great addition to any Sigma. You should know that the new rap-around trigger guard lazer covers the rail attachment on the front of the frame, so you will not be able to add a light. Pros: Easy installation and use Cons: You can not add a light.

I previously purchased a Crimson Trace for a different gun and wanted to buy one for my Sigma. They were not available at the time. As soon as they were released I placed my order with opticsplanet.com. The price was lower than other sites and I received the product quickly and with free shipping. I will definitely purchase from this site in the future. It took less than 5 minutes to install the Laserguard on my gun. Pros: great value Cons: none

The laser is easy to install and provides a clear indication of the point of impact. the activating switch is well positioned on the front of the grip and activated with the middle finger; nearly natural but with a little training it is automatic. I sent it back because I traded pistols; I am just waiting for them to make one for my Sig Sauer P320.

Wow! What a positive difference in shooting my S&W Sigma 9mm! Took less than 10 minutes to install and, with no adjustments, the laser was dead-on when I took it to the range and fired my first shot. A great product. Pros: Ease of install and use Cons: None that I see

I have found the red dot extremely hard to find on target during daylight. Mine was 4" off target when first installed but zeroed in very easily. very easy installation and excellent when zeroed in and its towards dusk or night. Pros: easy set up/installation Cons: tough to see during sunshine
