I love this sight. The laser actually pulses, which makes it easier for your eye to pick it up, however it never tells you that anywhere in the description. The laser doesn't always power on when you first push the power button, but when you pull the slide back it often corrects this issue. I would recommend this sight to anyone looking for a laser sight, its simple, it can't be knocked off, and it do minimal to change the overall look of the weapon. Pros: Easy to install, laser is east to pick up Cons: Doesn't always power on at first

Purchased the Laser Max LMS-1441 for the Beretta 92FS. It was very easy to install during breakdown cleaning. Took it to the range and after iron site trials hit a four inch group with 15 shots at 10 ft. and again at 20ft. Chest level laser only aiming at both distances same grouping. This is an amazing product. The pulsating laser helps with timing the shot as it makes you focus on the target. For personal defense this is a must have addition to this firearm. Pros: Excellent Product Cons: None

One of those few products that sounds too good to be true... but really is. Slide out your old spring guide, slide in the new take down lever with a really well-made integral switch, replace guide with laser and reassemble weapon. There- now you dont need the instructions! I only wish the laser was CW instead of pulsating, but I know that pulsating can reduce power consumption by 80 percent, and is just as accurate in actual field use as CW. CW just 'looks' better. Maybe when some of the new LED technology becomes available we can get one in CW Green! Now that would be the only thing to get me to replace this unit. I am totally satisfied! Pros: No external changes visible (except tiny button) Cons: Pulsing vs constant laser illumination

I bought the Red LaserMax a couple years back and it worked flawlessly through several trips to the Range but when the Green LaserMax came out....well I just had to upgrade. Don't judge....because I had a little trouble seeing the Red Laser in daylight conditions, but the Green Laser is much easier for me to see in daylight. The Red is now on the bench as a designated backup just in case. You really can't go wrong with either color because the quality of this product is outstanding and it's built in accuracy is amazing.

Installation is easy and no sighting is required as with frame, or grip mounted units. I've only used it once but for my intial experience, shots have been hitting within 1 to 2 inches of point of aim at 15 yards. Pros: Easy install, no adjustment required Cons: None

this is ideal for a tactical weapon where speed is essential. Pros: Installs instantly without modifications. Controls are easy to reach. Powerful enough to see in full sunlight at 65 feet Cons: Rather costly.

Easy to install and very accurate when shooting targets. I wish it was available in stainless steel material, and made a little more sturdy. Although I don't foresee any issues, the materials used appears fragile..

This laser works well. Easy to install. Does not affect gun performance. Took about 10 minutes to install. I've read where other users of this item have had some issues with it not turning on/off consistently. I had the same issue in beginning but it cleared up after a few cycles of the of the slide. I just think it was an electrical grounding issue. Haven't had that problem since. Another complaint is the laser does not have a constant On mode. It is a flashing mode only. It would be nice to have the choice but it's not a deal breaker. A flashing laser dot is actually easier to pick up, sight wise, than a steady beam. So, don't let that be a deal breaker for you. The on/off switch is somewhat convenient to operate. Turning on the laser is very accessible and handy with your index finger. Turning it off is not as convenient. To do so, requires the left hand (if you're right handed) since the switch has to be pushed back from the other side of the gun. Again, it's not that bad of a thing to have to deal with. It would be nice if the laser could be turned off by pressing the same button again from the same side. Although there are no adjustments, the laser is very close in line with the barrel bore. This type of laser is very nice to have. It adds zero bulk and there's no need for special holsters And best of all, it allows the user to retain his/her firearm's sleek lines, specially in the case of the Beretta 92FS. I think it would be cardinal sin to defa... Read More...

Cool factor if off the chart. But even with a ten percent discount and a sixty dollar rebate still about 2x more than your average laser flash light combo. Only thing i don't like which may be a problem down the road is the screw off battery cover is plastic if it cracks or strips then the whole thing is worthless. Hope replacements are available!? If not will not buy again, for the outrageous price it has to be one and done.

Easy install, clear instructions. Perfect fit for Beretta M9A1. Easy to turn ON/OFF with trigger finger (right-handed). No need for special holster. The usual quick service from Optics Planet. Have not verified battery life yet.

Easy installation and great way to remedy the problem with the sights on my Beretta pistol. I have low profile carry sights on my gun which leave a lot to be desired, this laser is a great invention. The fact that I can use my regular Beretta holster is also a bonus. Nothing to get caught on during the draw from the holster is great!

The Laser Max Green Laser Sight is very easy to see. It is more expensive than the red, but worth it. Simple system to install, only took approximately 5-10 minutes. YouTube video was very helpful. Optics Planet is very easy to buy from. Product came in quickly and was well packaged. ThanX

There is an important problem that might happen on some 92S missed in the instructions. If your gun has heavy bluing your Laser might not work. The silver tip of the Laser must have a good ground to the slide of the gun. It's simple fix just polish the area on the slide where the Laser slides threw. I had that problem right away. Accuracy problems. I'm sure any Laser installations on any 92S will not produce a dead on shot. My gun with the Laser dead on the bullet hits at 3.2 inches at 8am to get close to a dead on shot I have to aim the Laser at 3.2 inches at 2pm. Certainly a shot at 3.2 inches at 8am at 25 yards is a kill shot, but I look for more accuracy myself. Pulsating Laser, I saw complaints in the reviews about this, but you can get use to that, no problem there. Just a note for any user, the Laser shuts off when the slide is latched back and shuts down and back on between each shot, not a problem it's so fast you won't see it.

I was looking for a way to increase the low light sighting on my Beretta's that do not have rails to mount weapon lights. I don't like the rap around rubber grip lasers so I decided to get the LaseMax guide rod laser. I'm glad I did. I got the green laser and that pulsating strobe like dot is awesome. In daylight or low light it just rocks!!

Since I first saw the guide rod laser I though it was the greatest innovation in sighting I’d seen since someone duct taped a laser to his barrel. I checked the list of guns it would fit and selected a new gun based on this. I bought one in green and then bought a Taurus PT92 AFS. After seeing and using it my high regard has become stronger. The replacement rod looks and feels very sturdy. Installation was a breeze. There is no alignment to worry about and operation is intuitive with a little practice. I highly recommend this product to anyone and I probably will purchase another gun as you make them to fit more models. The logistics of size and engineering alone are first rate and and make it’s price point understandable. Thanks for a great product!

Fits great. Works great. An awesome deal when on sale. I need 3 more now. My eyes are getting old and this helps so much. I like that the gun does not have to be modified. Great for training and dry firing as well.

Great laser, easy acquisition even during the day. A little on the expensive side, but accuracy and ability to see during the day makes it worth it. I would recommend to anyone with fixed sights like on my Taurus PT92. I like the switch too, push from the left and it stays on until you release button. Push from the right and it stays on until you turn it off.

Buy it NOW, This was easier than I thought to install, took me all about 5 minutes but you must make sure the guide rod is in the proper position. Fits my 96G perfectly and could not be more happy about it plus the price was the best I could find.
